About Us

Ann Ljungberg, the store owner, comes from Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, and has a Master of Arts Degree in Art History from University of Uppsala. After decades of studying she decided that it was time to do something useful in life and decided to bring Scandinavian Design to New York. In April 2005 she opened the doors to her first store, Just Scandinavian with lots of help from friends and family. Little did she know that New York is so far away from Scandinavia and that shipping is a science.

Rajesh Kumar, our Market Research Analyst, comes from Haryana, in northern India, but since 1998 will tell you he comes from Sweden. He holds a Master degree in International Business from the university of New Dehli. He is of course used to a colorful environment but is very Swedish in his attitude about quality in whatever he does.
